A New Orleans Wedding

James and I spent last weekend in New Orleans for the wedding of an old college friend of his. It was the first time we’ve left Chloe overnight, but she had a ball with her grandparents, and we had a ball at the wedding. It was one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever been to – a mix of Jewish and Cajun traditions, a true New Orleans band, amazing food, and dancing the night away… And let’s just say our gift bags were filled with Advil and bottles of water… 🙂

Here’s a few photos of our mini-getaway…Celebrationdance

Amazing Applesauce Recipe

Been apple picking this season and find yourself with way more apples than you’d ever want to eat but don’t have time to bake? Try this super-easy applesauce recipe – and serve it over ice cream!

10 apples – cored and peeled

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

1 tsp cinnamon

Set slow-cook on low in a crockpot for hours, stirring occasionally, until the apples become applesauce.

It’s like dessert! (and yes, although I’m quite a good cook, I’m not a crock-potter, and this was the first time I used mine – ever – quite a handy gadget, I’d say! 🙂

Enjoy!

Ap-pal Pik’n’

That’s how Chloe says what we did this weekend – apple picking… 🙂 What a glorious day – low 70s, sunny, blue-blue skies – great for taking pictures!

Happy 1/2-way to St. Patrick’s Day!

And oh, what a lovely time we had… 🙂

It was a beautiful day, the people were wonderful, the music was nonstop, and the Guinness was flowing. There’s little that stirs my heart more than the lilt of an Irish ballad… and little makes me more gleeful than the beat of an Irish drinking song… 🙂

Happy 1/2-Way to St. Patrick’s Day!

GoingforguinnessCouple of quick notes today before James, Chloe and I head off to the Irish Heritage Festival for an afternoon of good music and Guinness… look who was reaching for her own taste last year (she did NOT get any… ;-))

I wanted to share an ‘article’ that I wrote for this week’s issue of Creating Client Abundance. It’s not so much an article as more my musings about how my personal and professional life intertwine… and I thought it might be of interest to you… You can read it here.

Busy week ahead: It’s Class #3 for the Client Abundance ListBuilding WorkGroup, which is going very well. We’ve already covered 14 strategies for building an email list of potential clients and customers with authenticity and integrity, with 6 more on the docket for this week.

Then there’s a Client Abundance Coaching Cafe members-only teletopic, about gearing up for a financially fruitful 4th quarter, coming up on Thursday.

So, off I go…

Happy Anniversary to Client Abundance!

September 3rd was a very special day of celebration for Client Abundance… it was the 1-year anniversary of its official launch!

WoodstockfixAnd to celebrate, James and I snuck off to an undisclosed location to "cheers" to me… and to all my clients, customers, ezine readers and colleages who’ve been a part of this journey with me… 🙂

Are you thinking… only a year old??? Yup – and yes, I’ve been coaching and consulting for more than 5 years, but things REALLY fell into place once I took everything I learned from the previous 4 years and sculpted it into the very successful form of Client Abundance. Which, by the way, is detailed in my 21 Easy & Essential Steps to Online Success System.

It only gets better from here… 🙂

cheers (literally!),
