It’s been almost three months since I’ve blogged, which sounds a lot like "it’s been three months since my last confession, Father…" 🙂 and I must confess that I’ve missed it, and I’ve made a commitment to blogging at least a couple of times a week as part of my business-building efforts going forward.

So, here I am, back from an extended summer vacation and finally feeling like I’m getting back into the groove of things. We spent almost all of July and August at the lake where Chloe’s grandparents summer and where I did growing up, and of course, I took a TON of photos (almost 500 in all!). Something amazing happened this summer (other than Chloe’s vocabulary growing from 4 words to 400 in a matter of weeks) and that is that I was actually MORE productive (and profitable) on vacation than I was the last few months working out of my home office in NY.
Needless to say, I’ve been pondering why so I can continue that momentum, and I’ll be sharing what I come up with in an upcoming ezine article soon. I’m just back from spending two fabulous days with three of the most amazing folks in my industry I know – Andrea Lee, Michael Port, and Milana Leshinsky – at their Power of Collaboration event in NYC.
My mind is abuzz with ideas and my heart with inspiration – so much so that I find it difficult to write too much at the moment, but I wanted to share some photos with you for now.

Me with Michael Port. I’ve been following Michael’s work for awhile now and always found it valuable, but hearing him speak was simply a blast. And he’s a really great guy to just talk to as well. His son is just one month older than Chloe (wonder if it’s too early to set them up? :)) Jake made a quick appearance with Michael’s wife Shannon, and his is adorable.
Me and Milana. I was so happy to meet Milana in person, not just because I admire her work for and with coaches, but because she has two small children and somehow manages to be incredibly productive. She truly inspires me.
Me and my former online friend, now my in-the-flesh friend, Sarah Robinson. Sarah and I met awhile back online and just "clicked." so to speak. Then when we finally met in person at the conference, it was like we had known each other forever. How cool is that? 🙂
I have lots to catch up on from being away for these few days, but I’ll be posting more soon with my thoughts and insights from the conference. Right now, all I can say is WOW.
